Health care practitioners universally recognise the significance of Catheter-Related Blood Stream Infections. By attending this workshop you’ll be able to:

  • Identify CVC-related complications (thrombosis and infections)
  • Understand best practices in infection prevention

Hailey Samuels is a registered nurse who has worked in the Critical Care arena for 22 years. During this time Hailey has held various roles, many at an advanced practice level. With a strong commitment to ongoing education, Hailey has completed a Graduate Certificate in Intensive Care, a Master of Nursing – Critical Care, and is currently enrolled in a Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner. Hailey coordinates the Vascular Access Service and is involved in inserting and teaching the insertion of Central Venous Catheters in the hospital where she currently works.
